Definitions

Respiras Breathing provides science-based breathing education and training services developed within the scope of consultative occupational therapy for health promotion and disease prevention. Our programs are designed to support functional health, respiratory efficiency, and nervous system regulation through self-care practices and skill development.

These services are intended for wellness, health promotion, and prevention. They are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment, or therapy for specific diseases. Clients are encouraged to consult with their physician regarding any medical concerns. We collaborate with healthcare providers when appropriate to support continuity of care.

While our services are offered outside of traditional occupational therapy plan of care based on insurance, we are considered non-clinical and wellness-based. We do not prescribe medications, diagnose medical conditions, or offer treatment for acute or emergent medical issues.

Respiras Breathing is not intended to induce temporary altered conciousness, nor is it intended soley for stress relief, emotional release, or coping strategies. Our practice extends beyond relaxation or energy flow techniques often rooted in spiritual, meditative traditions. We do not recommend hyperventilation, deep breathing, fast-paced breathing,  breath holding patterns, altered nostril breathing, or cold water immersion. Instead, we provide evidence-based, and science-backed breathing retraining and re-calibration of the autonomic nervous system using biometrics to improve, enhance, and optimize physical and mental capacities for everyday living. We are dedicated to people that value wellness, health promotion, performance, success, and longevity.

Scope of Services

WHEREAS, Respiras LLC, is a consulting and coaching occupational therapy practice that focuses on health promotion, wellness, and performance management for those who have or are at risk of developing an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. "Training & Education" include cardio-respiratory biofeedback, coaching for wellness and health promotion, skilled intervention, and ongoing support to the Client.

WHEREAS, Respiras LLC, is not intended to replace the services of your primary physician, it does not recommend the use or discontinuation of any medication or supplement, modification of any sleep appliance or oral device and it does not make health claims of any type. Respiras LLC, may be considered exploratory, and it is not to be covered by health insurance.

WHEREAS, The "Client" intends to procure adjunct health-related training and education under this "Agreement" and retain the "Company" with the aspiration or attempt to help improve health status and quality of life. The Company explicitly emphasizes there is no misrepresentation of any type the participant or Client will receive the same level of benefit nor guarantee results in the Respiras training program.

Refund Policy

On the mutual consensus that "Company" proprietary intellectual property is provided from the start of the program, and on the basis that "Client's" commitment is a pre-requisite in the program, "Client" agrees the cost of the chosen Respiras Learning Package by the "Client" is non-refundable.  The Client is required to be fully vested in his or her participation in our services. 

Notice To Uninsured Or Self-Paid Clients

If you are uninsured or are paying for our services as self-pay, you have the right to receive a good faith estimate for the total expected cost of any services we provide.in accordance to the “No Surprises Act.” Respiras LLC, consultative training and education, a concierge program, with unlimited support to the Client, does not directly bill through any private insurance or medical plan for our coaching learning programs, referred to as Learning Breathing Package.

Intectual Property

All intellectual property, including our copyrighted program or course materials are our exclusive property. We are not granting you any license to sell, transmit, use or reuse, or distribute our intellectual property except as necessary for your individual use and participation in our services as governed under the Respiras Services Agreement. We reserve all rights in our intellectual property.
